22 & Counting – New AED for Cabinteely!
We are absolutely thrilled to announce the installation of our 22nd publicly accessible AED across the communities we serve! This life-saving equipment is now active and ready to saves lives in cardiac emergencies when every second counts.
A project like this takes a true community effort, and we have had some incredible local support to thank for making this possible:
- Linda Mason & the Bank of Ireland, Cabinteely team: Our thanks and gratitude to Linda and the entire team for their fantastic fundraising efforts and also for nominating our charity to receive funding from the Bank of Ireland Fund for Colleagues. Your support is what allows us to continue to expand this vital safety net of life-saving equipment across our communities.
- Alan Lewis & The Lewis Motors Team: A huge thank you to Alan for generously giving us the space and power to place this public AED and high-visibility cabinet at his landmark site at Lewis Motors, Cabinteely. Getting consent and co-operation to install an AED at such landmark locations can often be a real challenge. Who owns the building? Is there power available for the cabinet heater? Without hesitation, Alan stepped-up to support this project and we are very grateful.
The new AED is located on the exterior of Lewis Motors on the old Bray Road in Cabinteely, ensuring it is accessible to the public 24/7
Location: Lewis Motors, 4 Old Bray Road, Dublin 18.
Eircode: D18 AW74

This installation marks the 22nd Publicly Accessible AED (PAD) now maintained by our team across the communities we serve. Having these devices available 24/7 in high-traffic areas is a critical link in the “chain of survival” during a cardiac emergency.
