Group Training with NAS Advanced Paramedic

We were delighted to welcome Advanced Paramedic (AP) Greg Prunty from the National Ambulance Service to join our group’s monthly training at St. Anne’s this evening.

Greg kicked off by providing a detailed overview of all the equipment carried on NAS Rapid Response Vehicles (RRVs). CFRs can frequently be tasked by NAS APs to retrieve equipment at an incident, so being familiar with the layout of RRVs is crucial in scenarios where every second counts. This was followed by an end-to-end Cardiac Arrest training scenario, including the latest guidance for introducing a Lucas CPR machine in the midst of ongoing manual CPR.

Greg facilitated this training in his own time, and we are extremely fortunate and grateful in equal measure to have access to his time and expertise.

Thank you Greg!
