22 & Counting – New AED for Cabinteely!

We are delighted to announce the installation of our 23nd Publicly Accessible Defibrillator (PAD) at Doyle Garden Centre & Nursery in Cabinteely. This life-saving equipment is now available 24×7 to saves lives in cardiac emergencies when every second counts.

As always we have had some incredible local support to thank for making this possible:

  • Seán Doyle a valued volunteer responder with our group and owner of Doyles Garden Centre & Nursery for generously giving us both the space and arranging a power supply to place this public AED at this landmark site on the Brennanstown Road, Cabinteely.
  • Vardis Group Construction,  a subsidary of the Marlet Property Group who are carrying out adjacent residential development  for donating a defibrillator.

The new AED is located at the entrance of Doyle’s Garden Centre and Nursery the Brennanstown Road, , ensuring it is accessible to the public 24/7

  • Location: Doyle’s Garden Centre and Nursery, Brennanstown Road,  Cabinteely, Dublin 18

  • Eircode:  D18 Y688

This commissioning is the 23nd Publicly Accessible AED (PAD) now maintained by Shankill & Ballybrack Community First Responders across the communities we serve.

Having these devices available 24/7 in high-traffic areas is a critical link in the “chain of survival” during a cardiac emergency.
